3 Dimensional Welding Spm / Path Tracer

Design and Manufacturing of 3D Welding Special Purpose Machine has been presented in this paper. Instead of using a Programmed Robot we designed and manufactured a SPM. Catia V5 has been used for designing and manufacturing of the machine with basic manufacturing processes. Conventional manual methods of welding have been replaced by automation by 3D Welding SPM. In the past path generation was for only two dimensions and no special purpose machine was invented for 3 dimensional automated welding, so we have invented a machine which will allow automated welding in 3D axis with the help of four different assemblies of basic mechanical components. Successful results have increased the accuracy and efficiency in welding process and also have cut the machining time.

An attempt has been made into the role of conducting an experimental research on aluminium alloys by using the technique to find and correlate Taguchi technological factors for the economy of the machining process. The powerful statistical tool Taguchi method is a systematic application of design and analysis of experiments. It is an effective way to produce high quality at a relatively low cost method. Improving one parameter leads to degradation of other parameters and optimization of various parameters is much more complicated. Therefore, Taguchi technique is used to investigate the characteristic multiple performance in turning operation. In this paper, the effect of the variation of machining parameters such as speed, power, depth of cut and radius nose in Al6063T6 has been studied and presented. First, the optimal arrangement of the four parameters of rotation has been determined using the configuration of the Taguchi L9 technique with a variation in three levels. After machining is completed, the values are documented and compared using statistical analysis software.
Design And Development Methodology Of Adaptive Vibration Absorber

The aim of this project is to how to reduce vibration through dual cantilever mass mechanism which is call adaptive vibration absorber that is different than the tune vibration absorber. Design incorporates the use of two concentrated masses cantilevered from two rods. The adaptive solution is achieved by moving the two masses along the length of the rod, producing a changing natural frequency for the absorber device. To do so we applied this system to frequency range of 30 to 80 Hz .For our design we take concentrated masses of 1.2 kg. When we change length from 81.5mm to 210 mm. So, our frequency range will be in range of 80 to 30 Hz (natural frequency).We would design the absorber for the setup having maximum acceleration at 50 Hz frequency and observe the amount of vibrations absorbed by it.

Metal turning process is a widely used process in Metal removal operations for reducing the diameter of workpiece. The force obtained in these operations are investigated experimentally and analytically with the help of numerical and optimization methods. Since, these machining operations have a complex structure; it is quite difficult to solve them analytically. Experimental method is also both costly and time consuming. However, this complex structure can be solved and analyze easily by using CAD based dynamic analysis software like ADAMs. This paper consist a software approach for dynamic analysis and optimization of process parameter in turning operation. The process of turning is influenced by many parameters such as cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut; which are difficult to analyze analytically and experimentally; can be easily identified by using simulation tools on ADAMs. This Paper work contains a three dimensional dynamic modeling of turning process and simulation of model, to identify the effect of process parameter on various forces like Cutting force, Feed Force and Radial force and also to optimize the parameters for minimum cutting force. The magnitude of force variation thus obtained is further validated with the experimental results. The dynamic force magnitudes obtained experimentally and obtained in ADAMs are closely matching. This proves that the accuracy of the developed 3D model, dynamic analysis software and analytical model.
Designing And Optimization Of A Mobile Crop Residue Disintegrator By Using Box Behnken Rsm Method

The most commonly used designs to determine response surfaces are the full and fractional factorial designs and the more complex central composite, Box-Behnken, Doehlert and mixture designs. Although the factorial designs can be used to determine simple response surfaces that are linear in all of the investigated factors, they are normally used to determine which experimental factors are the most important to investigate and which factors do not significantly affect the experimental results. The more important the interaction term, the greater is the degree of twisting the planar response surface experiences. If the linear model is not sufficient to represent the experimental data adequately, more experiments can be performed in addition to those of factorial design. The Box-Behnken and Doehlert designs can also be used to determine these kinds of response surfaces and optimize chromatographic factors such as temperature, column characteristics and flow rates. Mixture designs are used to vary proportions of mixture ingredients such as the solvent proportions of a mobile phase.

Tensile Deformation Characteristics Of Ti-6al-4v (Eli Grade) And Effect Of Interstitial Content

Anisotropy in tensile deformation of the Ti-6Al-4V (Ti-31) and Ti-6Al-4V extra low interstitials (ELI grade) was investigated and effect of interstitial on tensile deformation was discussed. Also reported in brief the details of chemical composition, microstructure of Ti-6Al-4V (ELI grade).The study reveals the tensile strength is more in circumferential direction than radial direction for Ti-6Al-4V (ELI grade) and due low extra interstitials the strength of alloy decreases.

Concept Modeling And Analysis Of Body In White Using Beam Elements

In this paper, Concept Modeling and Analysis of Body in White by using Hpermesh software is discussed. The companies first design the concept model of the car by using a CAD software. Altair Hyperworks software is used to create models. Beam and shell elements have been used to design the Body-inwhite structure of the vehicle. The modeling has done by using beam elements for creating the structural frame of the car, the model is imported and solved using MD Nastran. In order to perform the modal analysis of the model SOL 103 is used. The mode shapes and natural resonance frequencies can be visualised using Hyperview software. The frequency response functions of Inphase, Outphase and Single node are detailed. The SOL 111 is used to obtain the Frequency response functions under different conditions. The graphs are visualised using Hypergraph software. Based on the structural integrity the design of structure, alterations are done to it to get satisfactory values which can make the car stiffer. The results obtained confirms to the actual model, which can be compared with any hatchback vehicle.

The Rolling mill roll deformation is a serious problem and directly impact on production capacity, Mill Environment, Quality and highly impacting financial viability of the production companies. In this research paper the data taken from three companies, Supreme Rolls and Shears Pvt Ltd Indore, Dee Tee Industries Indore, ASSIL Industires Jaipur and Ruchi Strips and Alloys Ltd Indore. The first two companies are producing rolls for other two companies. Second Company is having 4Hi Rolling and Third Company is having 20 Hi Rolling Mill. The Deformation analysis is strictly subjected to the Work Rolls. The deformation is done on four basic parameters like Thermal Stresses, Overloading, Spalling and Design faliures.
